Shelter

In his series Shelter, François Pesant brings his camera in a confined space, the Native Women Shelter of Montreal. Between the walls of this small building, he testifies of the struggles of native women who try to retake control of their scarred lives, through a combination of native healing techniques and conventional medicine.
